Spring Into This Playlist

The Spring has finally arrived, and no matter where you live on this map, the name of the season alone signifies action. After all, Spring and Fall are the only two seasons that are also verbs. So with the Spring it’s all about taking action. We get some nice weather, some better clothes, and the preparation for the real wild season we call Summer. But let’s not jump ahead of ourselves. Let’s enjoy Spring for what it really is: the time to panic at the gym because you have only three months to get a Summer beach body.

All jokes aside: tis the season for movement of any kind. Whether it’s Spring Cleaning, Spring Break, Spring Workouts, Spring Sitting At Your Office Daydreaming About The Outside. Spring is everywhere, and we’re here to celebrate it with the ultimate playlist. This list exceeds all genres, as it takes an army of songs to really bring you into the Spring of things. So dust off that iTunes gift card from Christmas and download these joints to keep you in the mood for warmer weather. The good times await, and we have the soundtrack for it all.

Fat Joe & Remy Ma f. French Montana – “All The Way Up”

This jam right here will amp you up even when you’re in the worst mood on the planet. “All The Way Up” is more than a song; it’s a direction. And that’s exactly where you plan to go as the months heat up. You owe it to yourself. You’ve been freezing all winter. It’s time to party.

MOTHXR – “Touch”

This Brooklyn-based band is led by actor Penn Badgley, and the group’s debut album Centerfold is super smooth. This track right here feels like one of those songs for late night adventures. Go ahead and get into some trouble while you bump this.

Kevin Gates – “2 Phones”

iPhones? Droids? Blackberries? Burners? Landlines? None of this matters. Just get yourself two phones, put one on each ear and get thee to Snapchat to show them off. You know it’s not real unless it happens there.

Rihanna f. Drake – “Work”

Come on, you knew this one was coming. Rihanna’s comeback single with Drake is not only sexy as hell, but it’ll have you booking that vacation to the Caribbean long before you anticipated. This is some dancehall, grinding music. Live it and love it.

Kiiara – “Gold”

Kiiara came through with her breakout track “Gold” last year, but the video just released and the track is getting its second wind. Expect it to fuel the coming months, so be ahead of the game and start rocking to it now. Wearing gold is optional.

T.I. – “Money Talk”

Tip came through with the perfect soundtrack for everyone who just got their tax refund and need the right place to spend it. Here’s a pro tip: spend it at ScotchPorter.

Mike Posner – “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” (Seeb Remix)

Now look, we don’t condone pills in Ibiza or anything like that, but this Posner track is a real tune. You may just catch a flight to Ibiza. What you choose to do there is none of our business. Just saying.

Desiigner – “Panda”

Young Desiigner dropped this off at the close of 2015, and since then the track has only gotten bigger and bigger. This song can up your gym levels by 1000% if you put it on repeat. That’s scientifically proven. Okay, fine, it isn’t but give it a try. You’ll be pleased with your performance.

2 Chainz & Lil Wayne – “Bounce”

2 Chainz and Lil Wayne teamed up for their collaborative ColleGrove project, and this track “Bounce” is perhaps the greatest example of what happens when two turnt artists put their greatest energy forward. This cut can live in the gym, at the club, in the car, wherever. Just don’t bounce too hard or you’ll hurt yourself.

ZAYN – “Pillowtalk”

Who would’ve thought that a graduate of One Direction would bring one of the most fire love songs of this year? Well, Zayn Malik did that. Don’t even be ashamed to throw this on for the “chill” that comes after Netflix.
