Tobias Truvillion Pays Homage to Black Excellence and Marvin Gaye

The Actor/Philanthropist takes the art of storytelling to a new level.

This Black History Month, Tobias Truvillion tapped into iconic moments surrounding legendary soul singer-songwriter, Marvin Gaye. The award-winning actor wanted to recognize and personify the “soulful swag” that the legend projected no matter where he was. The creative direction embodied Marvin’s spirit and embraced what the world loved about him.

The set design allowed Tobias and team to express the creative authentically, tapping into the special moments they were focused on recreating.

When it comes to Black History, there are so many moments in time that are culturally relevant today. Marvin’s life was tragically ended in 1984 but his music and style influence cannot be forgotten. Whether through music or fashion, Black History continues to be made every day by talent across the globe. It’s in this same spirit that Tobias Truvillion continues to push the needle is his own acting career to level up the art form by bringing passion and creativity to the entertainment industry.
