The Holiday season is always packed with new releases across all genres, and this season has been no different.

To be honest, this album should already be apart of your collection. ‘Starboy’ not only provides the infectious title track that we all know and love, but also plenty of other gems with the likes of Daft Punk, Future and Kendrick Lamar to name a few. The album includes standout tracks like “Sidewalks”, “Ordinary Life,” “Party Monster,” and so many others throughout its eighteen track collection.
Childish Gambino – Awaken, My Love!
Childish Gambino has certainly provided one of the most incredibly and unique listening experiences thus far. ‘Awaken, My Love!’ is packed full of a fusion of psychedelic soul, funk and R&B influences. The departure from a predominantly hip-hop style has been met with positive reviews and is one of the unique, and contagious efforts of the season; if not the year. The project is loaded up with eleven original tracks, with standouts like “California,” “Me And Your Mama,” “Zombies” and “Stand Tall.” This is a gift worth giving!
John Legend – Darkness And Light
The talented, John Legend makes his return this Holiday Season with Darkness and Light. This incredible new album is driven by the lead single “Love Me Now.” The project also features eleven other tracks that are certainly worth rocking with. Mr. Legend showcases his smooth abilities alongside Chance the Rapper, Brittany Howard, and Miguel. Standout tracks such as “Penthouse Floor” with Chance The Rapper, “Surefire” and “I Know Better” provide some stunning sounds for any season!
The North Carolina native MC has been all over the interwebs lately and provides 4 Your Eyez Only for our listening enjoyment. The new project is a must have this season, and it just came out on December 9th. The album is the fourth release from J. Cole and features ten brand new tracks. The album includes no guest features and finds Mr. Cole getting down over top of production from Elite, Vinylz, Boi-1da, Cardiak, Ron Gilmore and Frank Dukes. The album includes standouts like “4 Your Eyez Only”, “Immortal,” “Deja Vu,” “Change” and more. It is a Cole World these days!
Kid Cudi – Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’
Who isn’t excited about Kid Cudi’s new ‘Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ project? The new album is slated to drop on December 16th and marks the sixth studio album from the Cleveland native. The project is set to drop with nineteen new tracks, including the previously released singles “Surfin” and “Frequency.” This is certainly going to be one worth checking out, and a perfect addition to any stocking this season!
